The Bird, The Mouse and The Sausage

Max Margulies and Naoko Masuda began making films together in 2005 as film students at Temple University, Philadelphia. Primarily focused on stop-motion animations that explore themes of food, consumption and life cycle utilizing hints of surrealism, their film works include MR. CONSUMPTION, THE BIRD, THE MOUSE AND THE SAUSAGE, FISH and GOD OF TEARS. Their work has been screened internationally and received numerous awards. Currently, Max lives in Philadelphia and makes music and video with his band Shy Boyz and Naoko produces videos in Tokyo.
